Kenia De Armas

Lead Supervising Paralegal

Kenia De Armas serves as the lead paralegal at the Hemans Law Group. She was born in Havana, Cuba.  She received her Accountant Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Havana and is a licensed Florida Notary Public. Coming from another country, she understands the hardships families endure to pursue their freedom in the United States.

Her vast experience in the field of immigration has given her the opportunity to understand different aspects of Immigration Law. She joined The Hemans Law Group in 2021 and has remained committed to our client’s expectations since day one. It has given her the privilege to assist families to achieve their Immigration dreams. Kenia has also worked with Attorney Hemans since 2019.

She manages a variety of cases ranging from Family Petitions, Removal Defense, Asylum, Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), Naturalization, and Adjustment of Status before USCIS and Immigration Court. She plans to pursue a Certificate in Paralegal Studies to allow her to increase her knowledge of the Law.

She enjoys spending her free time with her family and also loves to read.

Daniela Morales

Junior Paralegal

Daniela was born in Nicaragua and migrated to the US at 5 years old. and migrated to the US at 5 years old. She is fluent in English and Spanish; is a Florida Notary Public; and is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in political science. As a child, she learned about immigration because she saw  her family struggling to achieve their “American dream”.

She loves speaking with clients and being a part of their individual stories on their immigration journey to success. She endeavors to become an immigration attorney one day to help others and positively influence the world and those around her as well. She enjoys reading, watching movies, swimming, spending time with her family, and traveling.

Tonia Perrins

Billing and Operations Assistant

Tonia was born and raised in Nassau, Bahamas. She moved to Canada right after high school to attend university at Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia where she studied general Business Studies with a focus on Business Management, receiving her bachelor of commerce in 2020. She moved to Florida and began working at a law firm where I gained a new interest in law. Her interest in Immigration law especially is based in her own immigrant story. In her current position she loves being able to assist others in gaining status here in The United States! During her free time, I love to sing, learn about investments, and research ways to become financially free.

Nassima Heille

Legal Assistant

Nassima Heile serves as Legal Assistant at The Hemans Law Group, where she handles the mail, filings, and client communications. She is a full time student pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies. She can usually be found at the library reading and doing homework. After completing her bachelor’s degree, she hopes to attend law school and become an attorney one day.

She states that “of course, my passion for immigration law is no surprise, as half my family has immigrated from Morocco to the United States to live the ‘American dream’ as we like to call it. I aspire to be the change I want to see in the world, and that’s why I love coming to work every day!”
